Logan's sportsbook is one of the newest online betting sites in the industry. However, while new means good in most places, in the betting online industry, new means guilty until proven innocent. Here is a review of Logans.

  • Who Bets Here - Logans is an American sportsbook with a European feel, which means it's better organized and the site doesn't looked as crammed for space. Their main customer base is square and casual bettors as the sharps have drifted away in recent memory.

Two of the lack of appeals for sharps at Logans is that their betting lines aren't that sharp and the payouts have been slow. For the latter reason, we credit this more to Logan's parent site Sportsbook.com which has become notorious with slow payouts of up to four months.

However, the main attraction for new bettors is that Logans is one of a handful of shops in which the betting limits are quite high. Bettors can open accounts with debit and credit cards, but may only withdraw through the use of bank wire and courier cheques.

  • Customer Service - As we noted earlier, Logan's thanks in large part to Sportsbook.com has a slow payout system. This means that the busiest area of their site is not the betting area but rather the customer service department.

As this is the case, Logan's customer service department is one of the best in the industry. They use the 24 hour a day 365 day a year approach for the phone and live chat services. Yet the e-mail section takes a few days to get a response.

3. Placing A Bet - While you can talk to a live body via the phone when it comes to customer service quarries, this is not the case for placing a bet. Instead, Logans is one of several new age sportsbooks which only allows you to place bets over the internet. For square and casual bettors this isn't a big deal, but for the sharps that got the industry started, having a 1 800 number is a huge factor.
