Keno is a favorite past time in many casinos, as well as some in some state lotteries. A bet contains putting an amount of money down and choosing twenty numbers between one and eighty. Then a ‘caller’, calls out the numbers and based on how many numbers you got right, you win a certain amount from the jackpot.
It is very similar to the average lottery offered in most countries. It can be a great game that is incredibly exciting while the caller is in action. Online betting also has a version of Keno available for those who do not feel like making their way down to their local casino. Keno is somewhat seen as an old people’s game, as it may not offer the excitement and thrill that a round of poker or blackjack can provide.
The odds of winning at Keno are 1 in 3,535,316,142,212,172,800.00 so do not expect to win big playing Keno. It is more of a game than a serious betting in an online casino exercise. Keno can be a fun game, but like in the Chevy Chase movie, Las Vegas Vacation the chances of you going broke is better than winning Keno. However, if you only have a couple bucks left in your pocket and you do not feel like sitting at the penny slots, then perhaps a game of Keno can help you satisfy your last betting craves before heading back home. |

Roulette is one of the oldest casino games around. Its name comes from the French word for little wheel and was invented in the 18th century. It is very popular in today’s online casinos because of the many ways you can bet on a single round. The payout also differs depending on the probability of winning.
Roulette can be fun whether playing by yourself or playing with other bettors. It is truly a game of chance, where the only advantage one player may have over another is that they know the probability of a winning bet. Other than that, it is completely random.
In 2004 California legalized their own version of the popular game using cards, instead of slots to pick the winning number. Although it is not as popular. However, everyone everywhere in the world can find a roulette game happening any time in one of their favorite online casinos. |

Many who may have seen the movie casino may think that the mafia built Las Vegas as a money laundering, bookie haven and they would not be that far off. There is no doubt that the mafia did have their hands in many of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas since its inception after the Second World War.
Some of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas were without a doubt under the influence of the mafia. The massive amount of startup money that was needed to start a casino could only be found in a few places, one of those being the mob. Mob ties were very involved in building Las Vegas and running it for decades after.
Many sports books and betting sites stem from Las Vegas casinos today. Many of the larger casinos have been purged of mafia involvement, but there are still many rumors that they still hold high ranking jobs within management. However, these are just rumors and proving mafia involvement is a very hard thing to do. |
